Numerical Study of Inclination Effect of the Floating Solar Still Fitted with a Baffle in 3D Double Diffusive Natural Convection

چکیده

A three-dimensional computational study of double-diffusive natural convection was conducted to explore the impact tilt on thermal and solutal performance a floating pyramidal solar still filled with an air-steam mixture. In present work, is cooled from upper walls maintained at low vapor concentration. The bottom wall hot temperature high Four different models baffles placed in region have been studied. mathematical formulation equations governing problem based vector current potential -vorticity formalism. numerical method finite volumes used. effect Rayleigh angle flow structure, iso-temperatures, iso-concentrations, heat mass transfer rates were examined. most relevant results this are (i) uncooled air-vapor mixture outlet observed during tilting for equipped small, flat baffle, (ii) triangular curvilinear baffle configurations suitable guide towards cold sea, (iii) configuration design, enhancing by 20%.
